2005 Jaguar XKR 4.2-S 4.2L V8 Supercharged

Rare, Australian delivered Jaguar XKR 4.2-S. The Final Edition ‘White Badge’ is the ultimate and most desirable development of the X100 series. Built in very limited numbers, Jaguar announced that only 15 would be officially imported into Australia – 9 convertibles and only 6 coupes. Powered by Jaguar’s magnificent supercharged 4.2 litre V8 producing 298kW and 553Nm, the 4.2-S is paired with the silky smooth 6 speed ZF automatic transmission. Along with its performance, the 4.2-S featured 20” BBS Perseus alloy wheels, Brembo four piston brakes with red calipers and cross drilled discs, CATS performance suspension with firmer springs, dampers and anti roll bars, quicker steering and a lowered ride height. The distinctive ‘White Badge’ chequered flag Growler, chequered flag tread plates, carbon fibre instrument panel, Momo gear knob and aluminium interior trim further set it apart. The specification also included soft-grain leather, heated and electrically adjustable memory seats, Xenon headlamps, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, heated windscreen and premium sound system. This example has been very well maintained and comes with service history including its log book, large invoice file, various owner manuals and spare key. This XKR-S coupe is one of the last X100s built and one of only six delivered new in Australia. A modern classic in its most desirable form, any test welcome.
