Released in 1973 the XJ Series 2 was a face lifted version of the earlier Series 1 and was the last Jaguar saloon to have input from founder Sir William Lyons. This particular example is the top of the range Daimler Sovereign and comes with service history, owner manuals, large invoice file and spare keys. The interior is in excellent original condition with the woodwork, dash, steering wheel, dials, carpets and roof lining all presenting very well and the Biscuit leather trim only adds to the allure of this classic ‘70s icon. The brightwork is excellent, but there are a few areas on the body that may need attention if you want to take the car to the next level. Any test welcome.
