In production from 1962 to 1968 the Daimler 2.5 V8 Saloon was the result of a marriage between Daimler's superb little V8 engine and Jaguar's Mk 2 body. It offered a greater degree of refinement than the Mk 2 with the Daimler fluted grille and rear number plate surround, distinctive wheel trims, badges, and interior details including a split-bench front seat from the Jaguar Mk 1. This particular example presents exceptionally well, the car was re-painted a beautiful British Racing Green Metallic 12 years ago. Often admired but rarely used with the scope to improve or enjoy as is. Any test welcome.
